Jimbaran
The Bukit peninsula · Bali
Jimbaran sits on the narrow neck where the south coast meets the Bukit peninsula. It is unusual in Bali for holding two things at once: a long working fishing beach and the village behind it, and a concentration of large resort hotels along the bay.

What it feels like
What Jimbaran is actually like
That overlap is the point. It is calmer and slower than Kuta or Seminyak, but far less secluded than the clifftop areas further south, and the fishing village part of it is genuinely a working place rather than a staged one.
Practical
Getting around, and what to plan for
The closest quiet area to the airport, which makes it useful for a treatment at either end of a trip. The bay road runs the length of the beach and the village lanes behind it are much slower; the peninsula rises steeply immediately to the south.
Treatments
Which treatments suit this area
The mixture of resort space and village scale means both long planned treatments and short practical ones make sense. Suits a treatment built around a beach day rather than around a transfer.
Booking readiness
Guides available
BaliBetween publishes guides for this area. The venue network has not been built here yet, so nothing can be requested or booked.
An area appears on this site because BaliBetween publishes guides for it. Booking is switched on separately, one area at a time, once venues there have been verified and the local market has passed its readiness checks.
Booking opens when the venue network is ready
BaliBetween confirms every time with the venue before showing it to you, so the service opens area by area, once enough venues in that area are on it. Until then, the payment and confirmation steps are switched off rather than half-working.
Read the Bali spa guides or email us and we will tell you when booking opens.
